Here to start a blog! It will probably contain alot of stuff on Fashion and my upcoming projects, but also just fun stuff that is going on or I am doing or want to do. Anyways, had a busy week. Lots of work! and no time for sewing. So I am going to dedicate my Friday night to sewing (don't I lead an exciting life!). I will probably start working on my project for the Fabric Lab. They have an awesome show coming up on the 31st that will be dedicated to Couture Items, and I am glad to have a new focus. I think I am going to creat some unique pieces that are complecated and very technical. I am going to design my first long dress (I love the hot short dress, but I thought I would try something different). I have already started it, and the dress contains alot of vintage lace and cream colored fabric mixed with some gold and some embelishments that are from an old wedding dress. Anyways, I really like how it is turning out, althought I don't know if I will ever have anything to wear it for. Also, has anyone else noticed how crazy "in" the gold and silver is! CRAZY!!! It is everywhere. Silver and Gold. That is where it is at. Anyways, I think it is awesome, and I have some vintage gold lace and gold fabric that I think I am going to use in a dress that I can wear out. I don't know how denver will take the silver and gold craze but I am going to be creating alot of new items that contain gold and silver fabric. We will see if the people of Denver will come through for me and get interested in it.
